Do you mean the Roku Channel?
I'm using the Roku app on FireTV. After I watch a series' episode it begins playing the next episode. That's not acceptable.

Hi WynnSmith
Thank you for the post.
To turn off autoplay on the Roku app on FireTV, please follow these steps:
- Launch the Roku app on FireTV.
- Navigate to the home screen.
- Scroll down and select "Settings".
- Select "Preferences".
- Select "Auto-play".
- Toggle the "Auto-play next episode" switch to "Off".
Once you have turned off autoplay, the Roku app will no longer automatically play the next episode after one finishes. You will need to manually select the next episode to play.
We hope it helps!
Warm regards,

On the home screen I selected "Settings & Account". The next list of choices does NOT include "preferences". There are no Preferences. There are no "Settings". Every time I go into Roku, it feels like I'm wasting my time.

Please verify that option really exists, becuase it doesn't, not on my Roku Ultra bought 1 month ago.
Note, next episode overlays are showing up too early and disrupt ( cover ) the curently playing episode.
Also I don't need the first episode or whatever playing in the background while I look for my episode. - TBeckner3 years agoReel Rookie
