How to access MSNBC using my ROKU

I have an expensive bundled provider service (Xfinity) and am looking to gradually “cut the cord” to save money. I recently (7/24/23) installed a roku on one of my TVs and it seems to work.  However...

    NBC has both a free streaming news app (NBC News Now) and a cable news channel (MSNBC). And they seem content with that approach.

    I've mentioned this earlier in the thread but I will say it again. You can listen to the MSNBC audio stream for free in the TuneIN app (or for $ in the SiriusXM app).

    I have cable so I can authenticate the full MSNBC stream, but often I find the audio stream to be all that I need.

I have MSNBC 'highlights' on ROKU, I believe the original question was how to get MSNBC 'LIVE' with ROKU, not 'MSNBC Highlights'.  I have the same question. How can I stream MSNBC LIVE?

    The only means involves a subscription to a provider, the cheapest of which is mini-Dish Sling for a lot of unwanted other channels and too much $ for the one channel desired!
