HDHomeRun App - unsupported video format

I just purchased Roku Streaming Stick Plus and installed with latests updates. However, when I try and run HDHomerun app I get the message "unsupported video format." Is there any way to get this to work, or do I just need to return the Roku?

It is my understanding that HDHomerun app may used mpeg video format. From som research, it appears that older Roku devices may have supported mpeg.

Thanks for any help available.

    We noticed you have an issue with the HDHomeRun app, which has unsupported video.

    Here's what I can suggest: Let's try a system restart on the Roku device. Please press Home > Select Settings > Select System > Power (If the power submenu is not there, skip to the next step) > System restart. Once done, try to check the app to see if the issue persists.
