Fox News audio on MSNBC app on TuneIn

I have a TCL Roku TV. I like to listen to MSNBC on TuneIn on it during the day. However, today I can't do that because Fox News is running on the MSNBC app on TuneIn. 

TuneIn does not have a telephone number to call, so I filled out a support ticket over there. It being the Easter weekend I doubt anything will get done about it for a while. 

I called Roku support and the girl that helped me was great. We tried several things, including removing the power cord from both the TV and the modem waiting for a period of time and then plugging them back in, but that didn't help. 

We did a system restart. No help there. And finally we removed the TuneIn app, then replaced it. Not a single one of these things worked. I realize that the problem is likely at TuneIn,  But, I've had some luck here on the Roku community forums, so I thought I would try for help here. Any suggestions appreciated.

    Since this is an issue within the TuneIn app, it is best to continue to contact the support team for further investigation. The app provider runs and oversees everything about the app, which means they can help out with your issue.

      Thanks for trouble-shooting this. I have a similar configuration. ROKU is set up as a "plug-in" on various TVs. I do not have a ROKU TV. I'll try casting it. Cheers!

    I posted also some days ago and went through ALL of the resolutions. I have 3 different tv's that functioned well with MSNBC on ROKU until sometime early early a.m. on Saturday. My computer receives it as does my android phone. I am not convinced it is a TuneIn issue. I did submit a service request but no answer yet from TuneIn.

      We'd like to know more about the issue you're having with the app. 

      Could you share some more info?

      • Did you notice any recent updates before this happened? If so, can you check the latest software version of the Roku device? 
      • Any error messages? Can you please provide a photo so we can take a look?
      • Lastly, what specific Roku models are affected by the issue?

        I'm having the same problem. I use a Roku Express, but all was well up until a few days ago. I also submitted the following to TuneIn:

        MSNBC will not play on Roku using the TuneIn app. This has been happening for several days. At first, it was streaming Fox radio, but now it won't play at all. The error message is: "Sorry this content is not available right now." 

        The other news channels like CNN, Fox, play fine, just not MSNBC. I have tried reinstalling the app, but that made no difference. Can you fix this?  Thank you.
