Direct Tv free trial set-up issue

  • Trying to activate a DirectTv free trial on my Roku TV.  I keep getting this: "ACCOUNT SET UP ISSUE

The transaction was successful, but there's a problem setting up your account. You can try again or exit to troubleshoot using Roku."

I have retried several times. I can not find where to troubleshoot on my Roku Tv

    Thanks for reaching out about this. Channel authentication could likely happen whether you have an existing account or an issue with the channel alone. We would recommend reaching out to the channel support team for additional assistance about this.

    Or check the troubleshooting steps below and see if that helps.

    • Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press the Star button to open the options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
    • Restart your Roku device: Restart the device from the settings menu. Go to Settings > System > System restart > Restart.
    • Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Channel Store and add the channel again.

    If the issue persists, then will hand this over to the channel support team for additional support.
