How does one choose between the home and away feeds on NBA League Pass?

We appreciate you reaching out for support about changing the audio on the NBA channel. We'd be more than happy to help.
During playback, you may press the star (*) button on your physical Roku remote to open the Settings and change the audio to your preferred one. Also, if I understand your other concern correctly, you can return to your Home screen by pressing the Home (which looks like a little house icon) on your remote. If you want to return to the NBA feed, press the Back (⬅️) button.
