Try pressing the * button on the remote. I think that switches case.
No it does not stupid should of stayed with firestick
It's been a while but I could have sworn that my Roku keyboard had a shift key just like any other keyboard. I'm sure it had a normal shift key (ie: arrow pointing up) at the far left of the keyboard and a caps lock key (arrow with a check box) at the right side of the keyboard.

I also have the Streaming Stick + and had the other one before. The have the same issue, with not able to get a capital letter. I hit the* button and it did not do anything to give me a Capital letter.
The * did not give me a Capital letter.
Hitting * did change letters to capital!
