Can we stop horror ads on family shows?
Looooong time Roku user, just started watching some shows on Roku Channel... Why is seemingly every ad, for a shoe I want to watch with my kid, Great American Baking Show, just scary horror movie ads...

I agree with Josef264. Just stop ALL the horror/scary/creepy movie ads. None of them need to be advertised. Anyone who’s interested will find those movies. Network tv isn’t allowed to show them during the day and so should Roku, especially if you want to keep viewers. We blocked all these channels so that should be a sign we’re not interested.
And adding the settings to Personalize Ads has the disclaimer “you will no longer be opted-out of the use of sensitive personal information.” That’s not great either. It feels like we’re back on creepy Facebook.
In the end we’ll just stop watching.
