Black screen when playing content

I have been using ROKU for quite awhile now  and everything was fine until about 3 hours ago

the show I was watching ended so I went to view another one and now absolutely NOTHING will play    I either get a total BLACK screen OR I get a message the show is not accessible or has expired OR the display just pops right back to the Home Screen   I've tried deleting and readding the ROKU Channel app and that doesn't work... what the heck is going on and how the heck do I fix it....

What's really odd is ... I can go on my PC  open the ROKU app and watch whatever I want to watch so what the heck is going on....

    Have you tried performing a System restart found under Settings->System or Settings->System->Power (depending on your model)?

    One other thing - when you remove and reinstall an app, make sure to perform a System restart after removing it and before reinstalling it to remove any information the app may have stored on your device.
