Hey, JohnnyB4808.
Glad to see you here in the Roku Community!
We completely understand you're experiencing an issue with Tablo OTA channels, and would like to know more about it.
Could you tell us more about it?
- What troubleshooting steps you have tried so far?
- What specific Roku device/TV is affected by this issue?
- What is the app's exact behavior? Are all the OTA channels not playing? Or is it playing but without sound? A video or photo can help us understand the issue better.
- Have you experienced this problem before or is it your first time encountering the problem?
We would also like to request additional information such as...
- Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and Software Version. (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
- Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button five times, followed by the Back button five times, and provide us with this ID)
- Channel build version (Highlight the app from the Home Screen and press the Star * Button)
In the meantime, we recommend checking with the Tablo Customer Support team for further assistance.
Let's keep this conversation going. Please get back to us soon!

PBS and other stations record/play okay. CBS (NYC OTA Antenna) is a problem for some reason. Either watching live or recordings buffer/spool like the Tablo 4 can't properly process the data/resolution CBS is broadcasting. Our network plays Netflix, Max, Amazon at HD resolution with no problems.

Thank you for the reply.
I was unsure who's responsible for developing a Roku app. If Tablo is responsible for the Roku Tablo app design, I will make an inquiry with Tablo.
If anyone has any advice for a user to debug a problem like this, It would be appreciated.
The previous generation Tablo also had the same problem rendering CBS on a Roku device, but played okay to a HDMI output, so that leads me to believe that the NYC CBS/Tablo/Roku app combination issue. All the devices have wired connections and I've swapped out the router/switches, so I don't think it's a LAN network issue.
I'm not sure how much, if any of the Tablo/Roku data stream needs to go out and be returned over the internet for instance.
