Re: [Solved] Closed captioning on Hulu is out of sync

I see this issue all over from a long time ago and none of the solutions work. When watching a movie with subtitles, it works fine until a Commercial and then the subtitles continue to appear during the commercial, so when the movie returns, the subtitles are no longer synced. I know this is a Roku problem because when I watch on the Hulu app, the subtitles work perfectly.

    Same problem with me, started 3 days ago and consistent on 5 different TVs.  But if I steam Hulu to my tv (not using Roku) the closed caption works fine.

    Please share with us the following:

    • Roku device model, Device ID, Serial Number, and Software version (can be found in Settings > System > About)
    • Tracker ID (press Home 5x, then Back 5x)
    • Hulu app build version

      I've been having the same problem for a few days with closed captioning continuing through the first commercial, and being out of sync for the rest of the episode. Watching Castle S2 E11.

        Watched an episode of Castle tonight on Hulu, and the captions were in sync.

      Same problem here, tried all the troubleshoting from above and still subs are off after adds. We bought the stick 1 week ago, will return if this is not fixed.
