Hisense 65R6E1 Loop screen & usb updater
I activated the "awake" mode and now my tv is stuck on a start up loop screen. Turns itself on then turns itself off. Holding the reset button did nothing but make the screen go black for a bit but then it resumed the on and off dance. Has anyone been able to get the usb download link. I know this is a firmware issue so I'm trying to get the update onto a usb. I can't get past the roku tv hardware id question, with the tv looping I can't access the settings. Emailed Hisense for both support and the firmware update and was told to contact roku. Chatted in with roku and was told to call Hisense. Called Hisense and was told to contact Roku. If anyone can provide me with a download link or share the file I'd very much appreciate it.Solved3.1KViews0likes11CommentsGrey bar across bottom of Roku TV Screen
I have a gray bar going across the bottom third of the TV screen. It has a caution symbol, wanting me to plug the USB into the power outlet. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? I have already tried hard and soft resets. I have done updates.Solved1.3KViews0likes4CommentsRoku App for Audio when Hisense TV (R43B7120UK) is wired
I have the Hisense R43B7120UK and use the Roku App to send Audio to wireless Bluetooth headphones. The TV is now moving rooms and there is a wired connection. The TV also has weaker WiFi signal with buffering. If I use the wired connection, it's great stream quality, but I can't use the Roku App for audio. Is there a way to have a wired connection and still use the Roku App? For example, can I use a USB Bluetooth with the Roku App and leave the TV wired? If not, I will look to improve Wifi to the TV. My Roku streaming Stick+ stopped working. I discovered it was due to the USB Power Cable with Long-range Wireless Receiver. This plugs into the stick. My Samsung tv HDMI inputs all require that the Stick is plugged into the tv HDMI such that the USB Power Cable with Long-range Wireless Receiver cord is coming out of the top of the Stick (upward), so that it then flops/hangs down via gravity. I discovered that the cable that connects it to the Stick wore and developed a tear right at the stress point where it flops downward after the connection to the Stick. I feel this is a defect, and dont think i should have to pay $20 for a replacement. Ideas? Fixable?9.8KViews6likes216Comments
