Turning off headphone jack mode while still plugged in to the headphone jack on Roku TV
I purchased a Bluetooth external device that enables me to use Bluetooth headphones with my non Bluetooth Roku Onn tv when plugged into the headphone audio jack on the tv. I am able to pair my Bluetooth headphones successfully to the tv using this device. I am wondering how to turn off headphone (jack) mode while it is still plugged into the tv so we can go back and forth from headphone to speakers without unplugging or unpairing the external Bluetooth device and wireless headphones. Please advise.517Views0likes1CommentStreambar does not list wireless speakers as a pairing option
I have my Roku streambar hooked up and working. I plugged in Roku wireless speakers. Held down home button and the only devices available to set up are: Remote, smartphone or tablet, subwoofer, and wireless headphones. No wireless speaker option is listed. Please note: -Software is up to date -Everything is plugged in -I have done factory rest on streambar and speakers -I am located in the USA -Streambar is connected to a projector. No TV is involved. -The speakers were set up within a distance less than 5-feet from the streambar Lastly, and pay CLOSE ATTENTION, the problem is not that the speakers won’t pair, the problem is that “wireless speakers” don’t even show up as a device pairing option. Ever since I got this soundbar, whenever I play stereo music through Bluetooth, it has weird phasing issues that make the track sound warbly. I haven't been able to figure out exactly how the sound is getting altered. When I mix the audio to mono through the accessibility settings on my phone, it works just fine, but I'd like to have stereo audio. I have found when I switch the Bluetooth codec from AAC to SBC (developer settings on Android), it can stream Bluetooth audio just fine. However, I have to do this every time I connect my phone, and it seems odd that the smart soundbar doesn't support the higher quality codec properly.1.4KViews0likes1CommentBose QC II headphones connected to Roku TV - no audio wireless connection
Hello, My Bose QC II headphones will connect to my TCL Roku TV, however, there is no audio. The volume indicator on the tv indicates it’s connected to my headphones and the volume will jump to a higher setting (70-80 from 15), however, no sound. I have reset my tv, disconnected and reconnected my headphones but nothing has worked. This is a direct connection to the tv. I am not using the Roku app. Any suggestions?2.6KViews0likes3CommentsUsing Roku Soundbar as Bluetooth speaker for Amazon Echo Dot
I attempted to pair my Echo Dot and Roku soundbar via Bluetooth for playback of Amazon music, but neither the Roku or Echo Dot find each other when scanning for available devices. I have the soundbar linked to the Echo for voice activated commands with the TV on, but I'm looking to use it as a simple Bluetooth speaker for music when the TV is off. Currently I play music from the Echo through a small Sony portable Bluetooth speaker. I want the soundbar to replace the Sony for more room filling sound. Does the soundbar not support basic Bluetooth connection with the Echo?15KViews0likes5Comments
