xFi Gateway connection troubleshooting

I just received an xFi gateway but my Roku Express 3900 needs the 2.4Ghz band and 802.11 b/g/n to connect. A change was made I think and I had trouble connecting to my current gateway until I saw the band change here and that fixed it. Does anybody know if the xFi gateway has b/g/n on the 2.4Ghz or will I have to upgrade my Roku too?  The gateway I just received is a

I don't have xFinity, but reports from Xfinity users are that an xFinity router update set security to g/n.  Setting it back to b/g/n enabled their Rokus to connect.
