roku seems to have it's own wifi... how can I connect to that?

I moved my Roku to my office and It won't connect without the remote.

My phone (that I use the mobile app with) is picking up a wifi network Named: "DIRECT-roku-35500D695B"  I thought if I connected to that then I would be able to help the roku access the office wifi via the app, but I can't connect to the network from my phone.   Is the roku's wifi password somewhere on the back of the device?

You don't. That's how the WiFi Direct remote connects to the Roku device. You can't connect other devices. Put that thought out of your mind. Seriously.

To connect your Roku device to a network, you need a remote. You can't connect the mobile device to the Roku until it is connected to a network. You need a remote for that.
