Wi-fi wont stay connected

Hi Sorry to hear somebody else is having the same trouble, as I said in a reply a borrowed working one is working fine and it was so much faster navigating so pointing to a fault in the one I purchased from Amazon who are useless at helping out as they say I need to go to the seller who hides by not showing any contact and Roku says on their website that the guaranty is with the seller so after using Amazon for quite a few years now I'm never going to purchase anything electronic or things like their White goods, and advise others to bare this in mind they have a get-out on the law of faulty goods and will only deal with them for three months and not a year.

Wi-fi wont stay connected

Hey @alanjc37 @strmshr
Thank you for sharing your issues with your Roku devices not staying connected to Wi-Fi. Our team would like to gather more details for review and investigation.

For us to investigate further, can you please provide the details below:

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and OS version. (this can all be found in Settings System About)
  • Tracker ID and the modem/router model and ISP.

In the meantime, we recommend restarting the system to troubleshoot the issue. To do this, navigate to Settings > System > Power > System Restart.

Please keep us posted

Thanks,

Re: WI-FI WONT STAY CONNECTED

I have tried time and time again and it will no longer even connect to the internet it sees it and is marked excellent with all the bars filled in, it is in such close proximity it is within 8ft just over two metres away from the main modem, but my old Amazon stick still connects but it's outdated so not much use and as I've said previously a friend lent me his Roku and it connects straight away and is also much faster than mine was towards the end of stopping to connect.
