Whole house lost contact between Roku and phone app

Last night, the Roku app dropped 4 of us at the same time. Suddenly none of our devices appear in the app. We followed all the steps:

verified networks are the same

power cycled everything in the house

deleted and reloaded the app

I tried connecting directly using the address in the settings, says that device was not found while I was literally looking at the screen

Help! We only have 1 hard remote between the four of us!

Suppose your Roku device isn't showing up on the Roku mobile app. In that case, it's likely because your phone and Roku are not connected to the same Wi-Fi network, your Roku might have mobile app control disabled in its settings, or there could be network issues preventing communication between the devices; check your network settings on both devices and ensure mobile app control is enabled on your Roku.
