Screen frozen on remote pairing

Hi, I was just watching TV and suddenly all of the ROKU remote buttons stopped working… I changed the batteries, unplugged, replugged, then tried to factory reset my ROKU streaming box: and now, my TV screen is frozen on the“Remote Pairing” screen, and the ROKU streaming box keeps blinking… any suggestions?

Did you try pairing the remote again?  Assuming you have a Voice Remote, a light on the remote should be flashing when it's in pairing mode.

Yes I did. It won’t allow me to pair the remote..

Is the light on the remote flashing?  It sounds like the remote may have just died.
