Roku won’t connect to wifi

My roku premiere won’t connect to the wifi anymore!! I’ve tried disconnecting the wifi box, disconnecting roku, troubleshooting, and nothing works. I can’t even get to the main home page anymore, it just send me to the “choose a language” page and when I choose English, it takes me straight to the wifi connection and won’t connect! Somebody please help.

Might your router be one supplied by your internet provider? If so, your problem may have been caused by a recent update to your router.  This has been reported lately with equipment from Xfinity and Cox, but there may be others.   

Affected users report the router configuration needs to be switched from g/n security back to b/g/n.  If you don't have access to your router's control panel you may have to have your internet provider do it for you.

I am having the same issue 😭 having the problem with both Roku players in my apartment! Kids wanna watch tv and I’m not sure how to fix this! 🤦🏻‍♀️
