Roku just not working for last couple of weeks

Ever since the last update when I had to do a factory reset my Roku just hasn’t worked right. Sometimes it doesn’t connect to internet and I have to go in and connect. Sometimes my internet isn’t showing in the network choices so I have to restart my Roku. Basically every time I turn it on since last upgrade I have had to do something to get it to work.

Try unplugging the power from modem/router and Roku for 60 seconds and see if that helps.

We appreciate you sharing the issue you have experienced with your Roku device's inconsistent internet connection. Our team would like to gather more details to review and investigate.

For us to investigate further, can you please provide the details below:

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and OS version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
  • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID).
  • Modem/router model and ISP.

In the meantime, we would recommend you perform a system restart as a troubleshooting step for the issue. To do this, navigate to Settings > System > Power > System Restart.
