Roku Ultra message says no internet connection

Roku Ultra is direct wired via ethernet cable and will intermittently freeze with message no internet connection which is not true as the connection is fine on the smart TV apps. When I follow the prompts to check the connection most of the time it says it can't start and I need to restart the device. It's pretty much doing this all the time now.

Thanks for letting us know about your problem connecting the Roku Ultra to a wired ethernet. We're happy to help.

We recommend rebooting both your router and your Roku device. We would also recommend trying another ethernet cable.

The error code you mentioned is detailed in our Support resources here: What should I do if I can't connect to my home network or the Internet?

Please try doing this and see if it helps with what you're experiencing.

I did all that. No success

  • Did we recently make any changes to your network or network provider?
  • What error message/code are you getting after trying to connect to your network? (after entering the network credentials)
  • Do you have cellular data so we can try connecting your device to your hotspot?
