My college wifi is set up without using a browser. I type in my college username and password and that is how I connect my phone to the wifi. When I try setting up my Roku Ultra LT to the wifi (using an ethernet cable), step four says to open a browser and enter required information (such as name and room number). Nothing comes up when I open the browser. And under status it says I’m connected when I’m not. How do I connect to dorm wifi using an ethernet cable? What do I do for step four? How do I connect using username and password? How do I connect using a browser when the wifi doesn’t use it to sign in?

You might want to try calling your school's help desk.  Sometimes they have to whitelist your MAC address which you can find under Settings->Network->About.   An Ultra has two - Wireless and Ethernet.
