I have a roku ultra 2023 and no matter what i do it won't connect to my wifi I've tried reseting router, reseting roku, connection reseting roku, changing wpa on router, changing ghz to 2.4, and changing password still won't work it will sit on connecting to wifi name for a good 5 mins then give error 014.30 but will connect to a different wifi just fine
Good deal.
On your second router, the easiest method is to set it to AP mode. If you are using it in Router mode, you need to make sure you are using a different LAN IP address than the first. (ie. if first router IP is 192.168.0.1, then set the second one to use 192.168.1.1 or you are going to have conflicts). If you just set the mode to AP, you can avoid these conflicts and the first router will take care of DHCP addressing.
On the second router, for the 5ghz bands verify that this router is set to AC wireless mode. (you can use AC/AX but the 4801 cannot see or use the AX mode so need to have AC enabled). As such, because the 4801 is not wifi6 compatible, verify you are using WPA2-PSK (Personal) encryption. (cannot use WPA3 or enterprise).
On the second router, for the 2.4ghz mode, verify that the wireless mode is set to b/g/n. (all three protocols). By enabling b/g/n we are eliminating an issue with some cable ISPs that have issues when only g/n are enabled.
Lastly, try enabling a guest band (preferably on the 2.4ghz for testing) and leave it for now as an open-network (no password).

See if any of the above now helps gets the device connected. If still no luck on the wifi, how about ethernet? If practical with the location, can you see if the device will work with a wired connection?
Post back with the results and some details whether anything helped or if the error message changed or stayed the same, etc.
Try unplugging modem/router and Roku for 60 seconds and then plug modem, then router and wait for it to come back online and then power up Roku.
Nope
What is the model "number" of your Ultra. (found under Settings/System/About)
What exactly do you mean that it will connect to another wifi just fine?
Feel free to post back with Roku model number, your router model number, and the ISP (internet service provider).
The s/n is and I have a asus rt-ax55 router. I have 2 wifi connections one is for the whole house and one is just for the room the roku is in and I would like to use the one in the roku room because I have a bad connection too the other one but i can connect to the other one with no problems. and I have armstrong internet provider
How about the model number of the device, not the serial number.
Is this second wifi connection (the one in your room) a seperate access point device or another router? If a seperate access point, provide the model number of this access point as well.
If this is a seperate access point, first try to give it a unique name and different password than your Asus router. Also, make sure it is using a different wireless channel than the router. Regarding the password, also verify that you are not using special characters, just numbers and letters.
Different routers and ISP equipment may require different settings to get Roku to work on them so need to know model numbers to see what equipment we are dealing with here.
Model number 4801rw. It's the second router in the house. the second router plugs in to the first router then the modem. The second router has its own config, name, and password. The password should be fine. It also is on a different channel form the first router. Also model number of the second router is rt-ax55 v2 and the first router I can't get to right now but it's the router from armstrong
