Can't Connect, about to lose mind

Hello, having a dusey of a time here. Saturday night my 2 Roku sticks decided not to work anymore. One hasn't been used in months, and the other for a few days. I tried to reset the and am stuck. For what it's worth, the three Roku Ultras in my home are working perfectly. So, I went out today and purchased a bank new Roku stick. Same problem... Roku Stick recognizes thst there's a signal, and gives me the option to pick from the wireless connections it sees. It also tells me that my signal strength for my wireless is "Excellent." Problem is, it simply will not accept my network password no matter what.

I've double, tripple and quadruple checked the password. I even erased the password in the Roku Ultra and typed it in again and it connected without issue. Same with my cell phone, I erased my network password and retype it in and it accepted it fine. So it's not my password.

I've restarted the Roku, reset, and done everything with tech support. I've rebooted my entire network.

I've even turned on my mobile hot spot on my cell phone and it sees it but it won't connect to that either.

NOTHING is working to get these to connect. Roku tech support is less thst worthless, as they said they'd call me back shortly with a solution. They called me a couple of days later and had me run through the same drills that I confirmed didn't work before... I can't seem to figure out it out. I've tried everything that I can possibly think of besides changing my network password, and that just ain't happening, as I'd have to reset more devices than I care to count....

Any suggestions, I'm all ears.... Thanks in advance.

@longarm-

Might your router be one supplied by your internet provider? If so, your problem may have been caused by a recent update to your router.  This has been reported lately with equipment from Xfinity and Cox, but there may be others.

Affected users report the router configuration needs to be switched from g/n security back to b/g/n.

If you don't have access to your router's control panel you may have to have your internet provider do it for you.

If that does not solve it, try shortening/simplifying the WiFi password (change at router) in case Roku code can't handle it for some reason.  It's a long shot but fits the symptoms.

Re: Can't Connect, about to lose mind

Thanks, my question is this though; Why do the three Roku Ultras in my home work perfectly, but the sticks won't? If there was a router issue, would that not affect the Ultra's the same as the streaming sticks? As far as password goes, same difference. If my Roku Ultra's take it just fine, what about the streaming sticks?

I even went out and purchased a new streaming stick, and it's the same issue. But yet, my 3 Roku Ultra's work perfectly. This is my delima. I'm not a tech minded person, but deductive reasoning is part of my job. If my password was too long or my router an issue, then wouldn't it stand to reason that none of my Roku devices would be working? It's a mind melter for sure.....

It may be that Ultra support 5ghz WiFi; sticks only support 2.4 WiFi.

Config your router to broadcast 2.4 b/g/n.

Every Roku Streaming Stick ever released has a dual-band WiFi radio supporting both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
