3800RW Intermittently Drops Network

My Roku 3800 RW (14.1.4) keeps dropping my network connection after the latest SW upgrade, and staying retarded for upwards of 10-20 mins and says "not connected" using my AT&T mobile hotspot.  My laptop works fine on this connection.  I do see some packet loss and high jitter on the network, but again my laptop works fine.  I would say that Roku keeps shoving **bleep** in their updates, and the old processor can not keep up because of all the **bleep**, you know, like YouTube wanting to force more and more comercials down our throats.  Why is that? I can tell you that if I have to purchase a new device, it won't be Roku.

    We will be glad to investigate further this issue that you had with the Roku Express since it intermittently drops the network.

    Can you please provide the following information below?

    • Did we recently make any changes to your network or network provider?
    • What error message/code are you getting after trying to connect to your network? (after entering the network credentials)
    • How far is your device from your network router?
    • Do you have cellular data so we can try connecting your device to your hotspot?
