Roku remotes with channel numbers?

I know it’s main stream as Roku is becoming with TV makers I cannot believe to this day that they have such Grandaddy remotes I’m not able to use my Roku TV remote to scroll or change channels with my Xfinity stream app that I have so messed up it’s so frustrating my next TV will not be a Roku TV I’m in the process of purchasing another because of this I’ve had this one for one year and ready to throw it out to the trash going back to my android TV
