Remote presets not changeable or adjustable

Your remotes have preset stations/apps that they open without going through the whole menu, plus two additional buttons for my own presets. I have two, possibly 3 since I am thinking of dropping Netflix, on my remote that I don't use and don't intend to use, so they are worthless to me. What about allowing these remotes throught upgrades to be reassigned to anything I want instead of just being unused? Maybe also offer additional stickers to apply to cover up the preset setting. I recently got a Roku TV and would like more functionality from my remote. It sounds like there are others that would like this feature.
