Will not go to the home screen; just displays the Roku Dancing letters

My Roku 4 will not go to the home screen; it just continues to display the dancing Roku letters.

If you have an SD memory card installed in your Roku 4, try removing it.  A corrupted card has been found to prevent going beyond the dancing letters startup screen.
