Solving playback issues

Streaming Stick just stops working once a week of so

About once a week one of these things happens:

TV Powers up, Streaming Stick does not.

Both Power up, remote does nothing, I can turn it off and on again and again but that is all

Both Power up, remote is fine, choose a channel and it goes black after 1 to 15 minutes, then nothing works.

Only solution has been to cycle power, all is well for another week or so

Roku support sent me a new remote, an HDMI extender, had be restart, reset, check for updates, change HDMI ports. Use external USB, use TV USB - nothing has helped. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the post.

For clarification, how are you powering the Roku device? Are you powering the device through the TV USB port or is it plugged into a wall outlet?

If you are already in touch with our Support team, we would recommend continuing to work with them moving forward as they would best be able to assist you.
