What can I do to eliminate the constant distortion of sound from my Roku. The only fix seems to be to toggle another channel and return. This has nothing to do with my sound system, TV or internet provider. Please fix this!!!

Since you have a sound system connected in your home setup, have you tried connecting you Roku device directly to your TV and seeing if the issue persists with your sound system not connected?
