Roku ultra HD 4k HDR 4800R won’t get off start screen. It’s plugged into wall. Reset on bottom doesn’t work. There is no SD card. Unplug and wait 30 seconds and it still just goes to the blinking Roku screen.

@eeford, I haven't heard of a broken reset button, but I suppose it's possible.  Either way, with the power connected press and hold the button for no less than 30 seconds regardless of what appears onscreen.  Maybe you can force a factory reset.

I tried that. It didn’t work. Turned it back on this morning and it seemed to have accomplished a factory reset. As I was setting up the Wi-Fi connection it froze back up again. I’ve got it to factory rest 2x since then and each time it freezes back up before setup is complete. The chat support told I me they thought it was my remote. So I ordered one. We’ll see if that solves it.
