Roku Ultra. Volume goes all the way up or all the way down when pressing just once

I own two Roku Ultras, both are connected to LG TVs, one has an LG soundbar, the other only uses the TV's built in speaker.  On both, I've been having an issue where when I click the up or down volum...

It happens on any channel, or any app I'm using, such as Netflix, HBO, Prime, Apple Music.

    I posted this a few weeks ago, but see some are still having the issue or have not tried the following: 

    I tried the "hold home and back button" for 30 seconds (I saw a little battery symbol) at the top right of the TV and released the buttons.  Now the volume problem is gone and works like it should. I'll let you know if it comes back, but so far so good for over two weeks now.

    I did not try it yet,, holding off as the issue has not occured in a couple of weeks now. Just waiting to see if it happens.

    Hi Carly,

        I wanted to give an update on this issue.

    I disconnected my Roku and replaced it with an Amazon Fire Stick which worked fine.

    After a couple of weeks I reconnected the Roku and so far the issue hasn't returned I'm happy to say.

    So for now it appears as if my issue is resolved.  Thank you.

    What does "hold home and back button" for 30 seconds" have anything to do with the system and volume control?

    Hello, 

    I don't know what it does to the system, but it worked.  About 3 weeks ago in this thread (read on page 2), the community manager suggested it, I tried it and it worked.  Maybe it's some sort of calibration, who knows.   Did you try it?
