Roku Express has dimmed after being left on

Many have mentioned that after leaving their player on for a while it automatically dims.  However, I haven't found how you bring it back, one suggestion was to disconnect the device and remove the batteries from the romote but it didn't work.  I once ran into verbal instructions starting on my player, I learned that pressing on the asterisk 3 times removes this instruction, are there other instructions for this device (Express)?

Thanks for the post.

Have you tried pressing any of the directions buttons or the OK button to see if that resolves the issue you are experiencing? What troubleshooting steps have you already attempted to try to resolve the issue?
