Only surround format available is stereo

I have a Sonos arc system that is connected through the eArc port on my 2020 TCL six series Roku tv. Whenever I turn the tv on the only audio format available is stereo. I then reset the tv and the audio format availed is atmos. If I turn the tv off and come back later and turn it on, the only audio format availed is stereo. I don’t want to keep resetting my tv to have it detect Dolby atmos. My tv is up to date with the latest software (10.5). I’m not really sure what to do because the audio has been working fine up until a week ago.
