No picture on live channels, but picture is fine on streaming apps

Jump to solution

I have a Philips roku tv and I have nearly black screen on all the antenna and roku live channels, but the picture is fine on any of the streaming apps. No trouble with sound. Did a restart twice and didn't change anything?

Hi @Phillips1,

Greetings from the Roku Community!

We understand you're having a problem with Roku TV since the live channels are not working. We're happy to assist you further. Please ensure that if you have an antenna, you may need to plug it in properly and make sure to firmly attach the antenna cable. You may also try to scan again for the antenna channel by following the steps below:

  1. Connect the coaxial cable from your HDTV antenna to the “Ant/Cable In” connector on the back of your TV.
  2. Press Home on your Roku remote.
  3. Select Live TV.
  4. Follow the instructions on the TV screen to complete setup.

This should resolve the issue you are experiencing; however, if the issue is still unresolved, please reply back, and we will be able to assist you further.

Kind regards,
John
