Solving playback issues

Same thing for me. It’s because the 65R648 and 75R648 are not compatible with Roku OS 14 and Max needs the newer software to run. No idea why these two models are basically the only two models not compatible. Very frustrating.

Forced my device to update and that seems to have fixed it. For now....

I'm having this issue also, it started sometime over the weekend.  To be clear, I can start MAX, select a profile and the outer shell of the app loads.  No content loads.  The spinner is visible for a couple of seconds and then fails to Roku home.  Everything is up to date.  I have deleted app, and restarted several times.

The issue is more widespread than just the R648s. I have 6 TCL Roku TVs and 2 Roku streaming sticks, and the MAX app is only working on 2 of the TVs. The other 4 TVs and the 2 streaming sticks show the MAX splash screen and then crash back to the Roku home screen. Both streaming sticks are running Roku 14.0.
