Re: Getting this error when loading a new channel error:decoder:pump:write error:bad

Hi @tammykoelling63,

Welcome, and thanks for the first post in the Roku Community!

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We'd be more than happy to look into this further. For us to help you better, we will ask a set of questions to isolate the issue:

  • What Roku model device are you using that has an issue?
  • Does the issue occur on a specific channel or all the channels installed on your Roku device?
  • What specific troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to resolve the issue?
  • Have you tried contacting the channel provider's customer support to report the issue and get help?

We look forward to hearing from you and looking closely into this issue.

All the best,
Chel

@tammykoelling63-

Is this a channel you are developing?

If so, you've posted to a forum for Roku users, where few, if any, will be able to help. The Developers forums are a couple of doors down the hall: https://community.roku.com/t5/Developers/ct-p/channel-developers
