Display picture enlarged on screen

Jump to solution

I changed the batteries in my remote and now the display picture is enlarged. I tried changing the display type but none of those worked. SUPER frustrated!

Had a similar problem last night—upper left quadrant of the screen display was too large, cutting out the rest of the picture. Unplugged the Roku & plugged back on, no change. Turned the TV off and back on, no change. Turned off TV, disconnected it from power entirely (which may have also cut power to Roku again), reconnected, retried.  Everything back to normal!

Have you explored the picture size settings on your TV in addition to the Roku?  These could be labeled Zoom, Picture, Size, Aspect ratio, or something similar.

Worked like a Charme, Steve, thanks! Read a book on PC repair way, way back. First 3 words were "check the plug" LoL, but always try the easiest, dumbest thing first and often it is the answer. 2nd time in as many days I should have done just that.

But anyway, thanks!
