Welcome to the Roku community, Anonymous!
We see that your Acorn channel is having an issue with the Close Captioning out of sync, and we're here to assist.
Before we continue, we'd like to know if the problem only occurs with specific content. Could you please provide the title of the content? In the meantime, please try restarting both the device and the internet router to see if it helps. We highly recommend following these steps to fix this kind of issue.
- Disable closed captions, then enable them again.
- Fully close Hulu: Start by fully exiting Acorn and all other apps or programs running in the background, then try opening Acorn again.
- System restart: Turn off your device (and the modem and router, if applicable). Wait a few minutes, then power back up.
- Check for app updates: To check for Acorn updates, highlight the channel, press the star (*) button on your Roku remote, and select "channel update."
- Uninstall and reinstall: highlight the channel, press the star (*) button on your Roku remote, and select "remove."
Please try this and let us know if it helps with your issue. Please keep us posted.
Thanks,
