Audio issue with streaming stick. 4k

I have a Samsung smart TV - the streaming services are connected to the internet via WiFi. When I use an app on the Samsung tv ( to Netflix for example) I’m able to get 5.1 surround sound. When I access Netflix thru the Roku stick (viewing the same movie) I can only get 2 speaker stereo. I’ve connected the Roku to HDMI/ARC, and have all the audio settings set to “auto”. Any ideas? Thx.

Have you tried changing the audio settings not to "auto" to see if you are still experiencing the issue? For more information about audio settings, we would recommend taking a look at the information provided by our Support page here: Set up your player for surround sound
