what USB thumb drive is recommended for TCL Roku TV?

The TCL requires min 16gb USB (or Flash drive) for the Live TV rewind/Pause Feature.  Here is the Roku TCL link with some more info.  https://support.tcl.com/62989-tcl-roku-tv/what-is-live-tv-pause

I use a 32gb PNY USB 3.0 in my Insignia Roku TV and works fine.  As you will see in the above link, brand name is not really important, USB 2.0 and 3.0 should work, larger gb flash drives will not provide more time than the 90min rewind/pause feature.
