Unable to receive a activate device code


I have a Samsung TV with ROKU app. We have log on and can view programs. We cannot activate the device using the "activate device code. (the code does not appear. The settings show a device reference. How can we link this device to our account?

Thanks for the inquiry.

Please be aware that if you using the The Roku Channel app on a Samsung device, you will not be able to activate a device as there is no device to activate since your TV is not a Roku TV.

Can you please clarify what you are seeing and what are you doing before you see the error that you are experiencing? Can you please provide us with a screenshot?
