I have a couch with speakers built in. It works fine if I connect to Roku via headphones. But I want to use my Roku Soundbar ALONG with my speakers. roku doesn't support 2 outputs? I'm hard of hearing, and it is annoying trying to do this.
I can run an optical output to the other speakers, or connect via bluetooth. I'd like to play both soundbar & speaker at the same time. The speaker pairing doesn't work cause Roku requires a pair of 2.
Hey, @ashkir.
It's great seeing you here in the Roku Community!
Thanks for asking! We understand that you want to connect your couch speakers directly to your Roku Soundbar.
Currently, the Roku Soundbars are designed to pair only with the Roku Speakers; third-party speakers, such as what you are having, are still not supported, and therefore, you will not be able to pair them with the Soundbar.
Since you have the Headphones Mode workaround, we suggest continuing with that setup. It is the only way you can get your speakers to work with the Roku Soundbar.
We hope this clarifies everything. Let us know if you need more help!
Best,
The Roku Community Team
