Help getting started with Roku devices, including setup, connecting your device to your TV, linking a Roku device to your account at my.roku.com/link, adding channels, subscribing to services, and more.
Hello, I had a roku stick that I had to plug into a hdmi 2 red, white, and yellow adapter. It kept overheating within a few minutes. Is there a roku streaming device that has a red, white, and yellow cable output?? If so which model is it?? I'm getting desperate!! Please help me!!
You are asking for a device with analog outputs. No, Roku no longer offers one. Nor does Fire TV, Chromecast, or Apple TV to my knowledge. There might still be some generic Android TV based players on the market, but they're going to only be offered by some unknown company. The days of analog connections has passed, I'm afraid.
It sounds like you're already using some sort of HDMI to analog converter. Some users have had success using such converters, but the device has to support converting the 16:9 HDMI image into the 4:3 analog aspect ratio. No Roku has a video out setting that provides a 4:3 image. The last Roku that had such an output was the Roku Express+ 3910, which hasn't been offered new from Roku for about four years. You might still find them available online, but odds are it will be a used device.
