My home screen is M.I.A. after unlinking my device online.

Jump to solution

Hi. Today, I made a fatal flaw of removing the one linked device connected to my Roku device.  I thought (which is my biggest mistake!) that since I have added a new television since setting up Roku in 2016, that I should update the linked device. The problem is, I cannot seem to find where I go to to "link a device".

Now my home screen is gone. I am trying to find out how I can restore it. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

@jimconsidine, you will have to factory reset your Roku device to link it to an account.

Reno Jim,

Thank you for this information. I expected that a reset would be the required and am in process to setup the account again.

One good thing will come from this. I purchased an SD card for my unit (Model 4230X1). I was never able to get it to work with my Roku device. After resetting it, I reinserted the card and it is working.

Thank you,

Baltimore Jim
