I got an HIDB antenna (DTV) and connected it to the coax directly. Scanned for channels and I was able to get 8 channels but that all ended the next day. I checked to not scan streaming channels, did a restart from the TV menu, unplugged and plugged the TV, restarted the gateway twice, and still no channels. Software is up to date up to an hour ago. Is there an actual solution to this issue???
Try scanning very late at night for less interference. My antenna was originally put up in spring 2024. Now after rescanning I have about 50. I am getting the main channels ABC, CBS, and NBC. Sometimes ABC doesn’t come in but it’s now much better. Also my antenna was repositioned after shingling my roof Oct 2024. We had originally tried different directions but it didn’t work.
Hi @theferreiras,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
We understand you are having a problem with your antenna. We're happy to help.
You may be able to receive free “over-the-air” TV broadcasts from nearby TV stations, depending on where you live, using an HDTV antenna. The placement of your HDTV antenna can affect which TV stations you can receive and the quality of the signal. You can refer to the webpage Antenna Web for more information on accessing broadcast TV in your area.
For more information, check out this support article on how to set up and watch cable or satellite TV on your Roku TV system.
Hope you'll find this info useful. Let us know if you still have any questions.
