I have an HBO max subscription through Roku. When I try to log in to HBO max on my Samsung TV (not Roku supported), it says they can't find my subscription. Do I have to pay for 2 different subscriptions since I have 2 different types of TV?
No. However, the subscription through Roku is only good on a Roku. I hate Roku does it that way. Here is the solution. Don’t subscribe through Roku. Ever. For anything. Subscribe directly to the service. In this case, cancel HBO Max from Roku. When the subscribe expires, subscribe directly from HBO Max. Then use those credentials to log in to your Roku, your Samsung, your smartphone, your laptop, your toaster, your everything else.
