Connecting my Roku TV on Roku mobile app remote

hello,My roku TV and my phone are connected to the same internet, but despite that I can't connect the remote to my phone, it keeps telling me that the phone and the TV must have the same connection, i don’t know what to do anymore, can someone help menplease

We noticed in your post that you are having trouble with your Roku TV connecting to the Roku mobile app. We'd be glad to assist you with this concern.

Let's see if this will work for you!

Restart your devices:
We suggest you restart your phone and your Roku TV. To restart your Roku TV you can do the following:

  1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote 
     
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart

Alternatively, you can restart the Roku TV by unplugging it from the power source for 10 seconds before plugging it back in.

Check your network connection:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select Network
  4. Select Check connection
