Re: Help - using amazon storage

Trying to pull the jpg from the url --

Says "Access Denied" -
You'll need to set the ACL/Access Control List for any files in your bucket to "Read" and "ACP Read" for everyone (public).  I don't think direct publisher will allow you to modify the channel code to generate valid S3 token credentials so setting the files to anonymous access/public is the easiest solution.

Re: Help - using amazon storage

If you do have the capability to modify the channel code, or to execute code on a server, token access/authentication is explained here:

When uploading to S3 through the web browser, you are presented with who has rights to read the file.  Select the drop down arrow and select EVERYONE.  S3 will suggest you NOT do this, but it necessary (and needed for your video files, too).

Re: Help - using amazon storage

I tried this file with different URLs:
https://api.myjson.com/bins/g64dh

it passed the validation but still doesn't work on the channel. does it mean I need to set the files to anonymous access/public?
