Packaging an application automatically?

Hi,

is there any automated way to package a Roku application?
So the process from the .zip file to the .pkg file without installing the app on the Roku box and packaging. Maybe through the console?

Or is the only way to make a .pkg through the Roku box (Developer Web Page) ?

Thanks,
Simon

The only way to create it is through the Roku box. It has to be cryptographically signed by the box before it can be distributed. You can however automate the process by using general development tools such as curl and batch/shell scripts. You don't have to manually navigate to the webpage.

not sure how that could work. if you didn't upload the file to the roku box, it would have a hard time modifying it into a pkg.
